Trent Testa is a trial attorney focused on fighting for individuals who've been wrongfully injured. His practice is rooted in high-stakes litigation, sharpened by years of experience advocating for clients whose freedom and future were on the line. Before joining the firm, Trent spent three years as an assistant public defender in Tuscaloosa County, where he built a reputation for fearless courtroom advocacy and tireless client service.
Today, he brings that same tenacity to civil trial work--handling a variety of personal injury cases. For Trent, every case is personal. He approaches each client with the same drive and dedication, whether they're facing criminal charges or trying to rebuild after an injury.
A Chicago native, Trent earned his Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration from Mississippi State University before graduating from Cumberland School of Law in 2021. At Cumberland, he was selected for the school's elite National Trial Team and served as a published member of the Cumberland Law Review. He began his legal career at a civil defense firm before answering the call to advocate for those whose rights and freedom were on the line.
His trial skills have earned him recognition across the legal community. He was honored by the Alabama Criminal Defense Lawyers Association with a Merit Award for Excellence in a Criminal Case, a distinction awarded to attorneys demonstrating exceptional advocacy in defense of the accused. He is also a proud alumnus of the National Criminal Defense College's Deryl Dantzler Trial Practice Institute, an invitation-only, two-week intensive training program considered one of the nation's premier trial advocacy courses.
Now focused exclusively on personal injury, Trent continues to stand with individuals at critical turning points in their lives.
